About Sheepadoodles

A Loyal Companion

A Sheepadoodle is a cross-breed/hybrid dog, they are created by breeding an Old English sheepdog with a Poodle. Poodles are hypoallergenic which carries over into sheepadoodles. Old English sheepdogs are known to be a quiet and calm dog. Loyality is a big character trait in sheepdogs. When the Old English sheepdog and the Poodle mix the outcome results in a friendly, playful and smart dog.

Sheepadoodles can come in multiple sizes. Standard Sheepadoodles are the largest size, weighing between 50 to 80 pounds. Moyen Sheepadoodles are a medium sized Sheepadoodles normally weighing between 40 to 55 pounds. Mini Sheepadoodles are smaller dogs weighing on average 30 to 40 pounds. Tiny Sheepadoodles are the smallest sheepadoodles weighing between 20 and 30 pounds.

Sheepadoodles normally carry a black and white coat that turns to grey and white as they grow older. Merle Sheepadoodles carry more colour on their coats. The Blue Merle colouring is grey and black and can have white markings as well. These colours do not fade like normal Sheepadoodles. The black stays black, grey stays and white stays white.

Puppy Care

Experienced

During the 8 weeks, I spend time with all the puppies, helping them to get used to socializing with humans. I have siblings who occasionally play with the puppies, The puppies come inside a couple times during during the 8 weeks, I do this to help them adapt to the house environment. I do not actually train the puppies but I do my best to make sure the puppies have a good temperament

Puppy Picking

Organized

Puppy picking takes place once the puppies are six weeks old. I take photos of each puppy when they are two weeks old, I do this so that you can get a good idea of what all the puppies look like prior to your puppy picking. Picks are done in order of the waiting list so once the everyone ahead of you on the list has picked their puppy you will be able to come visit/pick out your puppy! Once the puppies are 8 weeks old you can take them home

My Story

Creating a Dog Business as a Teen

My name is Josiah. I am 18 years old and am currently studying in high school at FE Madill. I was born in Ontario and am living in a rural part of Ontario called Wingham. I have been fortunate to have had a childhood in a rural farming community. The place I call home, is a beautiful 54 acre property located between thick bush and clear rolling hills. Small ponds and beautiful trails make for a great place to walk the Dogs. I have always been interested in animals from a young age. When I was 13 I got my first dog and named her Areo. I am now 18 and have raised Areo into a loving, loyal and happy dog. Over the past few years I have gained experience in raising puppies and providing people all over the world with Sheepadoodles!
