About Sheepadoodles
A Sheepadoodle is a cross-breed/hybrid dog. They are created by breeding an Old English sheepdog with a Poodle. Poodles are hypoallergenic, which carries over into sheepadoodles. Old English sheepdogs are known to be quiet and calm dogs. Loyalty is a significant character trait in sheepdogs. When the Old English sheepdog and the Poodle mix, the outcome results in a friendly, playful, and intelligent dog. They are outgoing, curious, and super cute.
Sheepadoodles sizes range from Standard to Tiny Sheepadoodles. Standard the largest size, weighing between 50 to 80 pounds. Moyen Sheepadoodles, known as medium-sized Sheepadoodles, typically weigh between 40 to 55 pounds. Mini Sheepadoodles are smaller dogs weighing an average of 30 to 40 pounds. Tiny Sheepadoodles are the smallest sheepadoodles weighing between 20 and 30 pounds.
Sheepadoodles usually carry a black and white coat that turns grey and white as they age. Merle Sheepadoodles carry more color on their coats. The Blue Merle coloring is grey and black and can have white markings as well. These colors fade over time.
