Luna is confident, curious, playful, and affectionate. She reminds us a little of Dora the Explorer because she wants to investigate everything around her. She enjoys being involved in whatever is happening, but she can also settle down with a toy or curl up on the couch with you.

Luna loves walks, exploring outside, playing with toys, and spending time with people. On walks, she likes stopping to sniff flowers and investigate butterflies or anything else that catches her attention. One day, she even showed up at the door with a tennis ball already in her mouth, ready to go.

Luna has a playful, active side and occasionally gets the zoomies, but she is not always on the go. After playing or exploring, she is also happy to lounge on the floor with a toy or cuddle with you on the couch.

Luna would be happiest with someone who enjoys walks, outdoor activities, and bringing their dog along on adventures. A fenced yard would give her a safe place to play and explore. She would also benefit from having someone around regularly while she adjusts to her new home.

Luna will still need consistent potty training and has not had formal crate training yet. She is intelligent and curious, so she will do best with someone who is comfortable giving her clear and consistent direction. Like many young dogs, she may test whether something is a toy or something she can chew. Redirecting her in the moment and giving her appropriate toys will help her learn the household rules.

Luna is a multigenerational Mini Sheepadoodle from Faith and Jasper. She is approximately 56.5% Poodle and 43.5% Old English Sheepdog. Faith weighs about 45 pounds, and Jasper weighs about 30 pounds. We expect Luna to mature to approximately 35 pounds.

Luna has been examined by our veterinarian three times, dewormed, and has received all three puppy boosters. She is currently up to date on her vaccinations, and her veterinary records will be provided when she goes home.

Families who adopted puppies from Faith and Jasper have described them as affectionate, intelligent, and people-oriented. They have shared that their dogs connected well with both children and adults, responded well to training, and settled nicely into family life. One of the puppies even goes to work with their owner.
